The cottage is warm and tastefully decorated and equipped with every comfort: a modern kitchen with dishwasher and oven, a cozy gas stove, a new bathroom, a separate toilet downstairs and an extra toilet upstairs. The stairs to the three upstairs bedrooms are very easy to climb but steep.
The large garden borders directly on a nature reserve - the cows sometimes come almost up to the fence. Nearby you can spot seals at Hoofdplaat, walk through De Braakman nature reserve or just relax at the beach.
