There is a large pond adjacent to the garden which is well fenced for small children. It is not possible to swim in the pond. In the garden there is some playground equipment for the children.Grijpskerke is a small but lively village and is centrally located in the countryside of Walcheren, about five kilometers from Middelburg, this means that whatever you want to do, you never have to go far, both the beaches, forests and Lake Veere are within a radius of three kilometers. There are many mapped out cycling routes which lead you along quiet paths and roads through the beautiful countryside to various historic towns and villages.
