This detached holiday home, which we took over in 2019, has been largely refurbished by us.
In the spacious living-dining room you are greeted by a beautiful limed oak parquet floor, on which a new cosy corner sofa set sits in front of a warming, closed fireplace. Two Smart TVs receive international and thus also German TV and radio programmes via satellite connection. An Apple TV box is also available on both Smart TVs. WLAN (100 Mbit line!!) is available throughout the house. The WLAN/WiFi is free of charge.
The kitchen is very well and completely equipped, you will find brand appliances such as a Miele dishwasher, Siemens ceramic hob, an oven and 2 coffee machines (Senseo and filter coffee).
Next to the kitchen counter is a white Bo-Concept table, which can seat up to 5 people.
The 3 bedrooms are equipped with sufficient wardrobes, blinds for darkening and partly new beds. The master bedroom is very large and spacious! Besides the desk, there is enough space for a travel cot, for example.
In the entrance area there is a spacious shower room with washing machine and toilet. The second bathroom (with bathtub and WC) is located between the 2 bedrooms on the east side on the ground floor. Bedroom 1 is equipped with a 2 x 0.80m double bed, bedroom 2 has 2 single beds with 2 x 0.80m mattresses each.
A narrow staircase leads to a chilly gallery with 3 Velux skylight windows, which can be opened and darkened with a remote control. A second Smart TV with CD/DVD player is available here and you enter the 3rd bedroom (1 x 0.80m x 1.87m single bed), which is perfectly suitable for children.
The house (100sqm) is situated on a very spacious, approx. 620sqm south-west facing plot, which leads to a small lake, allows a lot of privacy and is beautifully overgrown with trees and bushes. On the spacious terrace you will find a garden table with chairs for 6 people as well as several garden loungers and a parasol. The garden is not visible from the street. There are 2 parking spaces in front of the house, which are surrounded by a rose bed. Further pitches are diagonally opposite on the other side of the road.
The Landal holiday park has an excellent, largely renovated infrastructure, which is particularly suitable for families and sporty holidaymakers:
In addition to a clean swimming pool with a giant slide and several children's entertainment programmes, there is a restaurant, an ice cream parlour and a new Spar supermarket with a wide range of products and fresh bread rolls every day.
In addition, the marina Port Greve with a beach restaurant is within walking distance, where you can take sailing and diving courses.
In about 8 minutes by car you can reach the Brouwersdam with its surf schools and beach restaurants.
A child's travel cot and high chair can be rented.
Service charges to be paid separately:
- Visitor's tax 1,45 ¤ per pers. from 3 y./night
- Administration fee 70,00 ¤.
- Consumption costs of gas, electricity and water 3,00 ¤/day
You have the possibility to bring your own bed linen, towels and tea towels or to use the following service offers via our house manager (to be paid on site):
Linen package 1 = 15,00 ¤
per person: 1 bed sheet + 1 pillowcase + 1 cover, 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 flannel
per holiday home: 2 kitchen towels, 2 tea towels and 1 bath mat
Linen package 2 = 6,50 ¤
per person: 1 sheet + 1 pillowcase + 1 cover
Bicycle rental:
at Roosen Bungalow Service in Scharendijke ¤6.00/per day, ¤30.00/per week
or via Landal
Arrival:
The key can be collected from our house manager at the following times:
- Week Friday (15h-18h) - Friday (10h)
- Weekend Friday (15h-18h) - Monday (10)
- if you arrive after 18h you can pick up the key from a key safe. You will receive the code in advance by phone.
During the rental period our house manager can be contacted at any time for questions etc.
ATTENTION:
> NO ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE ON SATURDAY/SUNDAY
> Weekend rental not in high season
> No pets allowed
> No rentals to persons under 23 years of age.
> No child safety locks on sockets, however most sockets are at light switch height.
