From the house, you look out over the water and the open polders where geese and meadow birds fly overhead. Via quiet dike roads, you walk or cycle straight into the Het Bokkegat nature reserve with its alternation of grasslands, woods and reed beds. Towards the Oosterschelde, you feel the salty air and tide. Wissenkerke is within walking distance for a bakery and terrace, and for a beach day you can easily reach the Banjaard beach. Middelburg, Goes, Veere and Domburg are at short driving or cycling distance.
