Nature-inspired 2-person studio with breakfast, nestled among the nature reserves of Kamperland

Kamperland is located on the western side of Noord-Beveland, between the nature reserves of Lake Veere, Oosterschelde National Park, and the North Sea. Lake Veere and the Goudplaat are within cycling and walking distance. It’s wonderful to hear the curlews, oystercatchers, and geese singing, calling, or honking. The De Schotsman nature reserve, Oranjezon on Walcheren, and the Kop van Schouwen show just how diverse Zeeland can be. The mighty Oosterschelde storm surge barrier is also worth a visit. Would you like to spend a day in a city? The beautiful historic towns of Zierikzee, Goes, Vlissingen, and Middelburg are all within a half-hour drive. The studio, suitable for two people, is housed in a former barn dating from 1924. The barn sits on a 2,300 m² lot, which also includes our home. The studio measures 35 m² and is heated by a wood-burning stove. Through the large French doors, you step into the high-ceilinged living room, with a small modern bathroom to the right and a kitchen at the back of the space. The living room features a cozy wood-burning stove that provides warmth and ambiance. A staircase next to the kitchen leads to the bedroom, which is situated on a loft under the sloped roof. There is a comfortable queen-size bed and a sofa where you can enjoy the silence and theThe terrace borders the (wooded) garden and is an oasis for birds and insects. There are also many large trees, including old pollarded willows and a large weeping willow. Various nooks in the garden offer space. At the end of the day, it’s wonderful to enjoy the last rays of sunshine with a glass of wine or beer. Those who stay here experience peace and quiet.
