Holiday property - De Dijkwachter ****

An attractive 4-person + 1 child < 3 yr. (pet-free) vacation home on the Wadden Island of Ameland. The Dijkwachter has a quiet and special location near the Wadden Sea in the Ballumerbocht near the picturesque village of Ballum. From the bathroom you have a view of the Wadden Sea! The vacation home has a lovely spacious living room with a modern wood-burning stove. From the living room you have patio doors which provide access to the terrace, lawn and playground. There are also several family games and toys available. This cozy home is spacious and comfortable. There is also plenty of room outside to play and enjoy.

Upon arrival, the beds are made for you, there is a large bath towel package waiting for you. In the barn you will find 4 bikes (including several child seats) + 2 walking bikes and a wagon which you can freely use. You have lots of privacy and are close to the Wadden Sea! Also in the winter months it is lovely to stay at the fireplace!

The rental prices include beds made on arrival, large bath towel package, kitchen linen, gas, water and light, four bicycles (and two child seats for the back and 1 front seat, on the front of the bike).
The rent includes €75 for final cleaning, from 2026 this will be €85 due to the VAT increase and tourist tax of €2.04 per person per night and from 2026 €2.07.
