Holiday property - Huisje in Maarn

This nature cottage is located directly adjacent to the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. So rolling out of bed in your pajamas to attend the morning concert of birdsong is like getting a front-row seat. The nature cottage is situated at the back of the garden and is higher than the "main house," with its own sunken seating area. The trees surrounding it provide the necessary privacy. It has the atmosphere you would expect from a forest cottage. Many natural elements and materials have been used, such as the balustrade of the loft made of birch branches that I was able to gather at the Maarn Estate. The kitchenette has two electric hotplates and a combination oven/microwave. There is also a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. There is a bedroom downstairs and, for those who are agile and flexible and prefer to count stars or leaves instead of sheep, a loft. The nature house is "screen-free" but does have Wi-Fi. Instead of screens, we have an old-fashioned games cabinet and lots of books. Teckel Jans and Fox Levi guard the fort.
