On a beautiful location (border Overijssel / Gelderland) is this cozy gypsy wagon. It stands on a small-scale campsite. Right on the river IJssel overlooking Deventer, reachable by ferry. Very idyllic and cozy; relax on the front of the wagon. Right next to the campsite is the IJsselhotel, where you can have a drink on the terrace. There is also a beach club. It is also an excellent base for beautiful walking and cycling routes. Even with children it is great to stay; from the lawn you can walk straight into the floodplain of the IJssel and next to the park (2 min. walk) is a nice natural playground with mud puddle, a stranded boat, water pump etc. Wonderfully quiet in nature but just steps away from the center of the city of Deventer.
