This detached, single-story lodge in Wijdenes sleeps six people and has three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with two single beds each, while the third bedroom has a bunk bed. One bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a shower and toilet; there is also a second bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet elsewhere in the lodge. The sitting area with a smart TV is perfect for relaxing, and you can enjoy a meal together at the dining table. The open kitchen is fully equipped, including a coffee pod machine and a kettle.
Through the French doors, you’ll reach the covered patio with comfortable patio furniture—perfect for outdoor living and enjoying the spacious garden. The lodge is situated in a quiet part of the park, where parking is centrally located. Park Wijdenes is situated at the foot of the oldest dike in the Netherlands, the Westfriese Omringdijk, and is designed with sustainability in mind, featuring solar panels and no gas connection. From here, you can look out over the polders and the dike. Hiking and biking trips are possible from the park, for example toward Hoorn or Enkhuizen. The Markermeer offers plenty of water activities, and in the surrounding area you can discover historic sites, castles, and typical Dutch landscapes.
