This single-story, detached lodge sleeps four and features two bedrooms, each with two single beds. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a television for those who enjoy watching TV after a day outdoors. The living room features a sitting area with a smart TV and a dining area. The open kitchen is fully equipped, including a pod coffee machine and a kettle. French doors in the living room open onto the covered patio with comfortable patio furniture, where you can enjoy the peace and nature undisturbed. Parking spaces are centrally located at Park Wijdenes.
Park Wijdenes is situated at the foot of the oldest dike in the Netherlands, the Westfriese Omringdijk, which separates the park from the Markermeer. This small-scale, car-free park prioritizes sustainability with solar energy and no gas connection. You’ll have a view of the polders or the dike, and you can rent a bike on-site to explore the area. A golf course and a playground are nearby. For a quick bite, head to the Grab & Go, where you can also order gourmet and BBQ packages. The Markermeer is perfect for boating and kitesurfing, while the region offers historic towns, traditional farmhouses, and castles to discover.
