Here, you can stroll past fish restaurants, authentic shops, and the picturesque harbor. Volendam is known worldwide for its traditional Dutch atmosphere, costumes, and rich musical history, as well as for the fresh eel that you won't find better anywhere else. Edam is a five-minute drive away and Amsterdam is less than half an hour away.
