Underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room with a smart TV make it instantly comfortable on board. On the terrace with a lounge set, you can enjoy views of the water, and you can easily access the IJsselmeer through the swimming ladder. A shared swimming pool is available. Parking is nearby.
Houseboat Wave is located right in the heart of the marina, within walking distance of everything Volendam has to offer. You can reach the Dijk, the vibrant center of the village, in just a few minutes on foot. Here, you can stroll past fish restaurants, authentic shops, and the picturesque harbor with its characteristic wooden houses. Volendam is known worldwide for its quintessential Dutch atmosphere, traditional costumes, and rich musical history, but also for the fresh eel and Hollandse Nieuwe (new herring) that you won’t find better anywhere else.

Surrounding the village are beautiful routes for cyclists and walkers along the Gouwzee and the polders. Edam, with its canals and cheese market, is only a five-minute drive away. The former island of Marken can be reached by boat or bike and offers a completely different, almost timeless atmosphere. Amsterdam is less than half an hour’s drive away, making Houseboat Wave an ideal base for a city trip combined with genuine Dutch tranquility.

Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine
