The vacation rental is situated at the start of the winding village road, lined on both sides with a mix of farms, historic buildings, and modern homes. After 2 km, the village ends at a small beach/sunbathing area where kitesurfing is popular for most of the year. Alternatively, the Hoorn city beach, which opened in 2023, is highly recommended.
