If you really want to discover Heesch and its surroundings, the best way to do so is by bike. The region features hundreds of kilometers of cycling paths that take you past rolling fields, through quiet forest areas, and along the dike by the Meuse River. Along the way, you'll pass charming villages where time seems to stand still and a fresh sandwich or a local beer is always nearby.

For those who want to cycle or drive a bit further, the wealth of the Brabant region soon unveils itself. The Loonse and Drunense Dunes National Park, also known as the Brabant Sahara, is a unique shifting sand area that will leave you speechless. And for an evening of culture, the vibrant city of 's-Hertogenbosch, with its canals, restaurants, and impressive museum, is the perfect outing.
