Within fifteen minutes you are at the Kraaijenbergse Plassen, where you can walk along the water, hire a boat or simply enjoy the view with a picnic. De Kuilen nature reserve in Mill is also worth a visit - a lovely place to swim or relax at the beach in summer.

For those who prefer culture and conviviality, Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands, is within easy reach. This lively city offers atmospheric terraces, boutiques and museums. Stroll through the historic city centre, admire the Stevenskerk church or enjoy a drink on the banks of the river Waal. You will also find surprising charm in the villages around the house: visit a local farm shop, taste artisanal regional products or stroll through the cosy streets of Cuijk.

There are plenty of great trips for families with children. Think the animal park in Overloon, indoor playground Monkey Town or an afternoon swimming in a subtropical swimming pool.
