Picturesque villages and towns

EuroParcs Hindeloopen is an ideal base from which to explore the Southwest Fryslân region, which includes seven of the Frisian Eleven Cities: Workum, Hindeloopen, Stavoren, IJlst, Sloten, Sneek and Bolsward. These towns are steeped in a rich history that is well preserved. Whether you stroll through the narrow streets or admire the historic buildings, each town offers a unique glimpse into the past and a chance to soak up the culture.

Nature Protection

At EuroParcs Hindeloopen, we work closely with the Province to protect nature. The park has a nature permit, which means that water recreation is not allowed all year round. Between October 1 and April 1, there is a total ban on water recreation. However, from April 1 to October 1, water recreation is allowed on the west and north sides of the vacation park. For more information and tips about water recreation in the region, please contact the reception. Please note, we strictly enforce proper compliance with the rules regarding water recreation.
