Landal Esonstad is just a stone's throw from the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site and Lauwersmeer National Park. Landal Esonstad Vacation Park is located next to Lauwersmeer National Park, 13 km from Dokkum, the northernmost city in the Netherlands. The park is inspired by Frisian fortified towns: you'll find a market square and houses built in the early Renaissance Frisian style. The park offers 144 vacation homes in the traditional Frisian style and 77 wharf houses. All accommodations are smoke-free. The water-rich area surrounding Lauwersmeer, with its dikes and mounds, is home to many attractions. Prefer something active? Then choose from a variety of water sports and activities. An added bonus: during the high season, a ferry runs directly from the park to Schiermonnikoog.Swimming Pool Closure: The swimming pool will be closed from January 4 through January 8 for maintenance. Winter Closure of Facilities: The park shop and the pizzeria will be closed from January 4 through January 15 for the winter closure.
