Playground and swimming pool

At Glamping Erfgoedpark de Hoop you will find everything you need for an energetic family vacation. Our park offers both a children's play beach and a surf beach, perfect for surfers and kiters to use their equipment. In addition, SUPs and kayaks are available, and our team is ready to recommend sailing and surfing lessons at the local surf school. Two electric Pontus sloops have recently been added to our rental offer.

During school vacations, we organize weekly activities such as a beginner SUP clinic, sunset supping in good weather, yoga, bootcamps, marshmallow roasting and the popular game of werewolves. The approximately two-hour treasure hunt starts at the reception, and best of all, the program is included in the accommodation price.

Restaurant - Krelis

The park features restaurant Krelis, where you can enjoy delicious culinary dishes, fine wines, ice creams and friendly service. The spacious terrace is the ideal place to relax on sunny days. Hospitality, local ingredients and a warm atmosphere are the pillars of the restaurant. For special occasions, there are two rooms available that you can book for private events. At Heritage Park De Hoop, you can park anywhere for free. There are six charging stations available for electric cars.

Water sports

A day on the water is a must during your stay at Erfgoedpark De Hoop. Do you have your own boat? Then you can moor it at the jetty near the park. Or rent one of our two electric sloops at the reception. From the Uitgeestermeer lake, you can take the boat to charming towns and villages in North Holland. In addition, supping and canoeing offer fun, active ways to explore the lake. For canoes you can go to local rentals, contact us for more information.

Cities & Villages

Alkmaar offers a lively historic center with stores and restaurants. Zaandam, Haarlem and Amsterdam are just a 20-30 minute drive from Uitgeest. For an authentic North Holland experience, visit the villages of De Rijp, West and Oost-Graftdijk, where you will find traditional Dutch houses, farms and monuments. These locations are also accessible by water, offering a unique experience!

Museums

The surroundings of Erfgoedpark de Hoop are home to several interesting museums. Explore the Zaanse Schans with its iconic windmills and crafts, or visit the archaeology center Huis van Hilde in Castricum. The Bunker Museum in IJmuiden and the Air War Museum with objects from World War II are also worth visiting.

Cycling & Hiking

The park is ideally situated for bicycle tours and walks along historical sites and through the North Holland Dune Reserve. Bikes can be rented at the marina reception.

Popular beaches such as Castricum aan Zee, Wijk aan Zee and Egmond aan Zee can be reached within 15-25 minutes by car. Enjoy a relaxing day at the beach or go kitesurfing. This coastal area is perfect for it.

Thanks to its central location near the A9 motorway and a half-hour drive from Schiphol Airport, the park is easy to reach by private transport. The train station of Uitgeest is only 4 km away.
