Very sustainable, with a roof strewn with grasses and flowers, heat pump, underfloor heating and power from solar panels. Absolutely unique about the cottage is the large glass front overlooking Reitdiep.
With a well-equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, a spacious bathroom and separate toilet, it is a lovely house for any time of year. Inside is a large dining table, with 6 chairs and outside a large dining table, sofa and garden chairs. There is also a fire basket and a BBQ.
In summer you sit outside, on the large terrace, overlooking the Reitdiep, in winter you can see the sun rise in the east from the kitchen table over the bridge and late afternoon in the west over the Reitdiep and the beautiful Groninger countryside.
From the terrace you can see deer, harriers and many water birds. Swim in the clean Reitdiep water, or take the canoe to explore the Maren.
