The safari tent at Glamping Lauwersmeer offers unique accommodations for two people with a distinctive layout. On the upper level, a fixed outdoor staircase leads to the bedroom, which features two twin beds and a television. Downstairs is the private kitchen, equipped with a two-burner stove, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a capsule coffee machine, and a kettle. You’ll also find the bathroom here, complete with a sink, shower, and toilet. Free Wi-Fi is available.
The tent opens at the front onto a spacious veranda with patio furniture, while upstairs near the bedroom there is a covered rooftop terrace where you can also relax or have breakfast. This allows you to fully enjoy the outdoors.
Glamping Lauwersmeer is located near Vierhuizen, on the edge of Lauwersmeer National Park. The park is car-free and child-friendly, with a playground and amenities such as a mini-market and a bread delivery service. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, biking, swimming in the Wadden Sea or Lauwersmeer, and taking a boat trip to Schiermonnikoog. In the evening, you can stargaze from observation towers in this official Dark Sky Park. The city of Groningen, with its market and sights, is about 50 kilometers away.
