The tent house at Feather Down Estate Volenbeek offers a perfect combination of comfort and adventure. Inside, you'll find a spacious living area with a cozy sofa and a large dining table, ideal for gathering with family or friends. Outside on the porch is a sheltered area with a picnic table and lounge sofas, where it's great to relax. The kitchen is fully equipped, with everything you need, including cooking utensils, a coffee grinder and even a cheese slicer. The beds are comfortable and consist of a double bed, a box bed for one adult and a child, and a bunk bed, all with luxury linens and thick towels.
You have your own shower with hot water on the farm and a real flush toilet in the tent, making your stay extra pleasant. The stay is without electricity, which creates a special atmosphere; the tent is tastefully lit with oil lamps and candles, and cooking is done on the wood stove. The park is beautifully situated on the edge of the forest and offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling and experiencing farm life, with cows milked daily. The area is also rich in attractive excursions, such as national park De Hoge Veluwe and various museums. An ideal place to really be offline and enjoy nature.
