LOCATION The yurt has a nice, spacious, green garden and borders a pony pasture with Shetland ponies along with 8 other yurts. The yurts are far enough apart to experience sufficient privacy.
BACK TO BASIC The yurt has minimal amenities yet you camp with the feeling of luxury. There is electricity and running water from a water tank. You can refill this reservoir in the group room. Here you also empty the dirty water. Heating is done with a wood stove and lounging in a hammock in the garden.
COOKING The yurt has a spacious cooking area with a gas stove and oven. Outside is a fire bowl.
Wood stove In the yurt is a solid soapstone stove that keeps the yurt pleasantly warm even in winter. The soapstone ensures that it takes a while to get up to temperature. But once it is up to temperature, it continues to give off heat for hours.
