Holiday property - Vakantiehuisje in Tonden

The farmhouse was burned down in 1924 and converted into the impressive natural cottage it is today. The landlords completely renovated the house to a high standard. Many places were visited where a fireplace, plumbing and flooring could be found. The interior walls are made of cob (sand, clay and straw) giving the house a warm and authentic atmosphere. The B&B has a private garden, several sitting areas and a private entrance. The rooms are decorated to a very high standard and with tremendous attention to detail. The very comfortable beds are made with beautiful linen and there are two bathrooms. There are two large bedrooms (28 m² and 32 m²) upstairs and one of them also serves as a sitting room with TV. The sitting/bedroom is fusion style, a bit like the kitchen! Downstairs is a fantastic, hand-built, oak kitchen (20 m²) with everything you need.
