The house is located in a beautiful holiday park in Makkum on the IJsselmeer in the Netherlands, with the sea and beach about 400 meters away.
A wonderful place to relax, especially for families with children and dogs. Many great playgrounds, adventure playgrounds on the beach, a petting zoo (summer only), bouncy castles/pillows, mini golf, a volleyball court on the beach, and much more...
The Frisian town of Makkum (2 km from the holiday home) offers everything a vacationer's heart desires:
a supermarket, bakery, butcher, fishing/pet shop, drugstore, toy store, shops and souvenir shops, as well as doctors, hairdressers, and pharmacies. Good restaurants, cafés, and pizzerias can be found in the center, as well as on the beach promenade, on the holiday park, and in the surrounding area.
For water sports enthusiasts, Makkum and the surrounding area are a paradise (kitesurfing, sailing, surfing, catamaran sailing, jet skiing, boating, etc.).
Our holiday home has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6. It includes a fully equipped modern kitchen, a living room with a TV and DVD player, a large bathroom, a small guest toilet, and a storage room with a washer and dryer. We have a wide range of amenities in the house, so you can, for example, explore the park from a waterfront perspective in a Canadian canoe (life jackets are provided for everyone), play a round of mini golf with our golf clubs, or play a round of Vikings in the garden/on the beach.
A large garden with a terrace and its own jetty (perfect for fishing) and direct access to the IJsselmeer Lake.
