Heeg is a place where you can literally feel the water calling. From your houseboat, you can step straight into a sailboat, sloop, SUP-board or kayak and explore the endless Frisian lakes and canals. Don't feel like sailing? Just take a refreshing dip from your own terrace or chill on the beach around the corner.

There is plenty to discover here on dry land too. Hop on a bike or put on your walking shoes and get lost in the vast landscape full of meadows, dykes and small villages. Sneek, Workum, Stavoren, Sloten - they are practically around the corner and brimming with history, charm and photogenic spots.

And then there's Heeg itself. Within five minutes you are in the village centre, where cosy terraces, quaint boutiques and surprising restaurants await you. Whether you go for a relaxed weekend or an adventurous holiday, here everything feels effortless and just right

Upon departure, please empty all trash bins and leave garbage in the designated spot
