Holiday property - Vakantiehuis in Sexbierum

The accommodation is located in a beautiful renovated old barn with a private bathroom, full kitchen, flat screen TV, air conditioning, and a terrace overlooking the fields. Hot water, heating and almost all electricity are generated by the sun, thanks to our solar collectors and solar panels.
We started refurbishing the barn in 2022, because we saw potential in it and wanted people to enjoy the beautiful Frisian landscape. We tried to preserve as many old elements as possible, such as the original beams. We also paid a lot of attention to sustainability: the renovation was done in the style of the farm, reusing materials where possible, such as old Frisian tiles and second-hand stuff. So it has become a place where comfort and sustainability come together.
