The Westerkerkje, a unique little building on the edge of the vast De Eese estate near Steenwijk. Built in 1935, it was for many years the smallest wooden church in the Netherlands. The Westerkerkje is very stylish and naturally decorated. It can accommodate 1-4 people overnight. It can also be wood-fired with the special Bullerjan wood stove. Outside there is a large canopy, a garden stove and several seating areas with wide views.
