Simple lodging, big experience - your stopover in the middle of nature

Passing through beautiful Drenthe? Whether you're exploring the Drents-Friese Wold on foot, by bike or on horseback, this Hiker's Hut at Park Drentheland is the perfect base for a night (or two) surrounded by greenery. Here you will sleep comfortably, enjoy the simplicity of camping life and have everything you need within easy reach.

Compact, practical and cozy

The cabin is functionally furnished with bunk beds (including pillows - bring your own sleeping bag or bedding or rent them), a sitting area and a simple cooking facility with a 2-burner electric stove, refrigerator with small freezer and a basic kitchen inventory (for 4 people). There is one electrical outlet - handy for charging your phone (tip: bring a power strip!).

Relaxing in the open air

There is a picnic table in front of the cabin, ideal for breakfast in the morning sun or a drink in the evening. You have your own bike shed and parking at the cabin. Pets are allowed, so your dog can just come along!

Sanitary facilities

You use the modern, central sanitary building at the park. For longer stays there is also a washer and dryer available (shared use).

Location & surroundings

The Log Cabin is located on Park Drentheland, right on the edge of the National Park Drents-Friese Wold. A beautiful area of forests, heath and sand drifts where numerous hiking, cycling and equestrian trails start. Are you coming with your horse? Then you can use our luxurious horse stables.

Park facilities

Even if your stay is short, you can make use of the park's facilities: think outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, miniature golf, playing field, animal-do-pad, outdoor bar with live music and much more. It's a fine stopover that feels like a mini vacation.
