Welcome to this comfortable vacation home for six people in Diever, where families, nature lovers and peace seekers will feel right at home. From the farmyard you can walk straight into the Drents Friese Wold National Park, one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. Here you can take long walks through forests and moors, discover sand drifts and children can enjoy the space and freedom of nature.

Inside awaits a cozy living room with corner sofa and dining area, ideal for dining together or playing games. The kitchen includes a four-burner stove and dishwasher; the refrigerator can be found in the pantry. In the separate recreation room, children have their own place to play. Upstairs you will find a double bedroom and a spacious family room with four single beds and crib. For families with babies, there is room to add an extra camp bed/cot. Children have fun at the pond within walking distance, where you can also fish. For bikes there is a shed with charging point, ideal for those who want to explore the area by e-bike.

There is also plenty to do in the neighborhood. The village of Diever is known for its open-air theater with annual Shakespeare performances and houses an impressive dolmen. The Colonies of Weldadigheid, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, provide a special insight into the history of Drenthe. For lively terraces or a day of shopping, Assen and Meppel are nearby. And those in the mood for water fun will find it in Giethoorn or the picturesque National Park Weerribben-Wieden.
