Holiday property - Huisje in Zeijen

Welcome to our beautiful nature cottage, where you can completely unwind and enjoy wonderful walks and bike rides. The bakery is just around the corner, and café and restaurant Hingstman is one corner further, with a lovely (heated) terrace. At the end of the street is the beautiful and well-known Oranjerie. Zeijen is an old village in the province of Drenthe, northwest of the city of Assen. It is an esdorp (ancient village) with many Saxon farms. Our own farm dates back to 1730. Behind the house is the beautiful and unique Zeijerwiek nature reserve, where you can enjoy wonderful walks from the cottage. But you can also discover beautiful Drenthe by bike! Drenthe is bursting with cycling routes, making it the cycling province of the Netherlands. Nowhere else in the country will you find more cycle paths than in our province. No wonder. Cycling in Drenthe is particularly fascinating and takes you back in time. During your bike ride, you will cross Drenthe's primeval landscapes and pass ancient dolmens and burial mounds.
