This nature cottage is located on a small recreation park with four detached vacation homes right on the Drentsche Aa. The houses are lined up along the stream, so that each house has an unobstructed view of the Aa. The company has existed since 1927 and has passed from father to son. Son is now in charge and father still does odd jobs. The houses are in the middle of the Stroomdal Drentsche Aa nature reserve. With a very long fishing rod you can fish almost from your house. Near the cottage is a meadow available. In late summer and autumn they have mushroom days for learning to recognize and prepare edible mushrooms. On request, they can also organize game picking tours and a birding excursion. Pets are allowed and free, provided they behave nicely and do not cause a nuisance. This nature cottage was designed by the artist William Speakman in the shape of a mushroom. It is a very comfortable cottage with massage chair for stuck joints.
