Surrounded by monumental trees lies this cozy nature cottage in the north of Drenthe. It was built in 1930 on the spot where the house of Estate Bloemert stood on the edge of the Zuidlaardermeer. The nature cottage stands on 8000 m² of private land, part of a forest area where, at a good distance from each other, there are three other cottages. The forest is rich in birds, such as the spotted woodpecker and the nuthatch, which daily visit the feeding table. The nature cottage is decorated with great attention in a rural romantic atmosphere. The open kitchen is new and fully equipped, such as combi-oven and dishwasher. It is lovely to relax in front of the built-in fireplace with a book from the book mill and a good glass of wine. The bedrooms are upstairs, the bathroom with shower cubicle, sink and toilet downstairs. There is WiFi and a flat-screen TV. No smoking inside and pets are not allowed. Parking is available next to the cottage and bicycles (possibly for rent) can be kept dry.
